Le 24ème Forum des jeunes mathématiciennes et mathématiciens se tiendra du 20 au 22 novembre 2024 à Montpellier (France) sur le thème des « mathématiques pour l’environnement, l’agriculture ou l’alimentation ».

The OpenAlea workshop will take place at Cirad/Lavalette from 16 to 18 September 2024. It will be followed, on Thursday, by an hackathon on light models intercomparison, funded by #DigitAg!

Inria-Brasil is an international strategic partnership with LNCC and major Brazilian universities, pursuing high-quality research in digital science and applied mathematics (with special focuses on HPC, Artificial Intelligence, Scientific Computing and Data Science). Within Inria-Brasil, we organize thematic workshops (in hybrid mode) with the aim of bringing together Inria and Brazilian researchers working on the same theme to foster new collaborations. This workshop on digital science and agronomy will feature scientific presentations from French and Brazilian teams, introductions of ongoing projects, and conduct a panel to discuss international cooperation on digital agriculture.

The Pl@ntNet team, in collaboration with the #DigitAg Convergence Institute, is organizing an exciting summer school at the crossroads of artificial intelligence and agroecology in the context of the Pl@ntAgroEco project.

L'Acta relance sa formation aux méthodes mathématiques et statistiques pour les modèles dynamiques pour l'agriculture, du 3 au 6 juin 2024. Cette formation vous apportera les bases permettant de manipuler les principales méthodes statistiques pour construire, analyser ou utiliser leur modèle. Vous appréhenderez la pratique réelle de ces méthodes au travers d’exemples et de travaux pratiques avec le logiciel R pour appliquer ces méthodes sur vos propres modèles.

Les 3 dispositifs "Défi Clé Robotique centrée sur l'humain", "Défi Clé Octaave" et "OccitANum" s'associent pour organiser une journée à destination des scientifiques d’Occitanie autour du thème de la Robotique au service de la transition agroécologique.

The workshop, held from May 27-30, 2024, at Institut Agro, Montpellier, France, brought together approximately 85 participants working in 16 countries from Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America and Pacific, representing 29 institutions or companies.
